Energy Therapy~Reiki

Thousands of people around the world are learning and experiencing the benefits the Japanese art of Reiki, and you can too. Reiki literally translated from Japanese means "spiritual energy". It is the energy that we all feel when we are balanced. ?There are many benefits of a Reiki session and more benefits of learning and practicing Reiki; here are just a few:

A Reiki treatment is a relaxing and pleasurable experience. You will lie fully clothed, on a massage table while I place my hands lightly on 12 to 16 key energy points of your body. You may feel tingling, warmth or perhaps you will drift off into a gentle "floating" sleep. When your session is over you will experience a profound sense of wellbeing and balance. Your physical symptoms of pain and stress will be reduced just by the cleansing effect of a hands-on Reiki treatment.

My Reiki Story

Being raised by a logical Father and a optimistic Mother, I keep an open mind. Just not so open that my brains fall out.

            When I first heard about Reiki or Energy Healing, I was a skeptic. Truth be known, I was even a bit scared. I did not believe that physical pain could be relieved by energy work. Many people feel this way until they experience it first hand. 

            Having suffered from intense stomach pain for years, I figured I had nothing to loose and decided to learn more about Reiki. I was introduced to a well respected Reiki Master who gave me my first Reiki Healing. He also taught me self-healing techniques that I was suppose to do for no less than 21 days in a row. After the first treatment I felt emotionally peaceful and physically energized. Within 30 days of doing my self-healing, and after my second healing session with my Reiki Master, the stomach pain that I thought would haunt me for the rest of my life was gone!  The logical part of my brains said, “It is because my stomach pain was due to nerves and the energy work calmed down my system”.  Yet, this alone was reason enough to continue.  I decided to take a class and I obtained my first level attunement in 2003.  I learned how to apply the technique for the benefit of others. I began sending healing to people that requested it and was astonished when they felt a decrease in many different areas of pain. Energy healing worked!

            I continued with my courses and reached Reiki Master Level in Dec. 2005. I began teaching Reiki at that time through internet classes as well as in person energy workshops.  When I became a Therapeutic Massage Therapist, I integrated Reiki into my sessions for those that were open to energy work. The feedback from my clients have been overwhelming positive.   

            As a Reiki Master, I honor the ethical principal of Reiki as set forth by Sensei Mikao Usui, and the NCBTMB, sharing with my clients and students’ knowledge on the benefits of Reiki and how to use this modality safely and effectively.

This is an all inclusive 1 day workshop

This course provides knowledge to the practitioner about how to treat patients though the energy technique of Reiki.  The findings and teaching methods are based on the research of Dr. Mikao Ushi. A practical step-by-step format will be provided for balancing the body systems, thus treating energy related needs. History of Reiki will be discussed as well as the physiological benefits. This course will further include ethical application and energy patterns, (working with the charkas). Practitioners will be taught reliable skills that offer long lasting relief to those clients interested in this healing art. 

The objective of the Reiki Level I program is designed to open up students to Reiki Healing. Students who successfully complete this class will posses the necessary skills to perform both self-healing and clinical healing for their clients. This class is a combination of lecture, discussion and hands on application. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment.
