This course covers ethical principles and concepts with greater awareness as it pertains to everyday situations that arise in a working environment.
The teaching material and lectures are designed to focus on several key points of Standards of Practice as outlined by the NCBTMB, that might not have been fully discussed or understood in its entirety by a massage student vs. a now working and licensed therapist.
The class consists of lecture, role-play and group discussion. This course meets the NCBTMB's mandatory requirements for 6 hours of ethics, including 2 hours in the specific category of Roles and Boundaries, Standard V.
